Carmanah’s Obstruction Lighting Division is pleased to report it has expanded operations in South America over the past few months with the addition of three new Authorized Distributors for obstruction lighting in Brazil, Uruguay, and Peru.
These new members of Carmanah distributor network are very active in the telecommunications and power transmitting industries in their respective countries and have already made great progress at introducing Carmanah’s solar-powered LED lighting technology and the potential cost savings and improved reliability that can be achieved.
Trials are underway in many instances, and Carmanah looks forward to the increased exposure to the South American marketplace through these qualified, authorized distributors.
Carmanah now has obstruction lights installed in more than 35 countries for marking telecommunications towers, power transmission towers, wind energy turbines, meteorological monitoring masts, bridges, etc.
