Carmanah’s Solar LED Lighting Group has received a contract to supply a number of Model 601 solar tower lights to El Salvador. These units will be installed for obstruction marking on power transmission towers throughout the country.
Carmanah is pleased to have been selected as the preferred supplier for this project. Central America is an ideal region for the Company’s solar-powered LED lighting technology and the products are particularly well-suited for remote and isolated areas where reliability and no maintenance are substantial benefits. In fact, Carmanah has its solar tower lights installed in every Central American country for marking wind energy meteorological towers, telecommunications towers, electrical transmission towers, etc.
About Carmanah’s Solar Tower Lights
Carmanah’s solar tower lights are completely self-contained and can be installed in minutes with minimal technical expertise. They also use LED arrays for light output, which means there are no bulbs to replace and they will operate reliably with no scheduled maintenance for up to 5 years.
Carmanah’s solar tower lights are also shock-proof, vibration-proof and watertight. They have been field-proven worldwide to operate reliably under the harshest of environmental conditions and extreme temperatures.
